Now we are only minutes from the oceanfront and warm sandy beaches. This will allow for nice walks in the spring and getting a good tan in the summer. Plus I should show you the awesome bike my husband bought me for Christmas, which will just fit the boardwalk just perfectly:
I actually haven't even had a chance to ride the thing yet because it has been just bitter cold since Christmas. My plan is to attach a basket of some sort to the back so that Frank can ride in it and go places with me :) Plus its pink, so just one other reason to totally love it!So we have the beach, my new bike, oh and we are only 45 mins from Busch Gardens Williamsburg, which is just so fun! We have annual passes, which will allow us to go as many times as we want and it totally pays for itself!
Last year in Washington, I started gardening and attempted a vegetable garden. Things did sprout very nicely, but we were in an apartment then, and putting things in pots did not prove to be successful. But this year, living in a house we actually have a yard! So I am hoping for better luck. I'm thinking tomatoes, jalepenos, maybe cucumbers, and possibly some herbs.
And lastly, my husband and I are going to be purchasing a 2 person kayak soon. He owns a single kayak from before we were married, but what fun is that for a young married couple ;-)
So here's so hoping the weather warms up soon. I'm hoping in this area we get an earlier spring than I am used to in Maryland and Washington. I am soooo ready!
