Photo a Day

Hi everyone, I took a long hiatus from blogging. I've been wanting to get back into it, but haven't done so, for the same reason I stopped before- I just don't have a lot going on that people would care enough to read about.
So after applying to somewhere between 15 and 20 dental offices and finding out it was usually me and 40-50 other hygienists applying to each job, I decided I needed to do something to keep me busy. I almost got a few of those jobs, but the sense of rejection was getting old. I'm not applying to anymore jobs for the time being. I am working through a temp agency, so I get called when an office has a hygienist out sick or on vacation. This way I'll keep up my skills should this economy ever turn around for the better. It is a bummer I worked so hard for 4 years to get my BS in Dental Hygiene and I am not using it the way I'd like, but I've decided to open some new doors for myself.
I signed up for a cake decorating class today for February and I am going to also participate in a craft show soon, selling some jewelry and other things I've made. And yep, you guessed it I decided to "dust off my blog" and give it another whirl. I am trying something that will keep me here for a whole year....
I'll be posting a photo a day for a year. It'll be somewhat of a journal of what is going on day to day, but I think I will interest people better this way. Wow I still have 26 followers after not even blogging for 5 months. Thanks to those of you who didn't abandon me!
